One aspect of Michael Reagan's job is managing office moves and expansions for Georgia Cancer Specialists. Because Englert Technology serves as GCS's IT department, it also handles the IT component of these office build-outs. From setting up computers and networks to installing phone lines, Englert Technology ensures the offices are up and running on schedule and on budget.
"It makes my job easier to have the expertise of Englert Technology in-house. When we need to build-out an office, we just hand Englert Technology the floor plan. They understand the number of people that will be involved and the layout, and they take care of wiring for our computer network needs and phone lines. I don't have to worry about finding an outside vendor, calling them, having them come over to meet with me, etc. The process is more streamlined, and I know when an Englert Technology staff member is sitting at the table we aren't going to have any problems.
Most of the time we are working on a tight deadline. We need to expand quickly without interrupting patient care. Englert Technology can work quickly and accurately. I never have to worry about them not showing up or dropping the ball. Fred has such a great staff. I have to remind myself that Englert Technology is an outside vendor. As far as we're concerned, they are a part of our regular staff. We have such a good relationship.
