The Challenge: Maintenance and enhancement of a large, legacy automobile insurance software package in order to process current client business, add new policies, and expand business lines to new states.



The Solution: Manage teams of information technology employees in the maintenance, development and customer support of the
legacy system.

Implementation of sound project management practices to administer all client requests.

Established and maintained open lines of communication with the client organization which was located in a different state. Regular status meetings and program review sessions were established with the client.

Set and adhered to customer service request standards for new and problem based requests.

Upgraded the product to handle underwriting of business lines in new states while maintaining regulatory changes to the product
in existing states.



Impact: The client was able to process new and existing client policies and was able to expand business lines to new states based on corporate strategic plans. The useful life of the legacy system was lengthened, providing the needed time for the development and implementation of a state-of-the-art application.
